February 8, 2007 12:00pm through 1:30pm
Speaker: DR. DÍAZ, JUAN ARMANDO
Dr. Juan Armando Diaz is the current Director of the CSS Project on Integrative Mediation. Kosovo is the main pillar of CSSP’s integrative mediation efforts. Strategies evolve as the political environment changes with the final status negotiations. Our efforts focus on strengthening the existing conflict resolution mechanisms, mediation at the local level, conflict prevention activities and negotiation and mediation workshops. Since early 2005, CSSP has met with international and Kosovo leaders, which have welcomed the contributions of CSSP. OSCE and UNMIK have been instrumental in facilitating our activities
in several municipalities in Kosovo.
