Dual Master's Degrees in Conflict Resolution and Mediterranean Security
- Master of Science in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason University
- Master of Arts in Conflict Resolution and Mediterranean Security from the University of Malta
Orientation in Malta begins at the end of September. Courses and thesis work take place for 13 months beginning in October and going through November of the following year.
- U.S. and Canadian students have the same requirements as the regular MS program and must apply online through George Mason University by the August 31st, 2017 deadline. Please ensure all application requirements are submitted before the deadline.
- United States and Canadian applicants must have a bachelor degree from an accredited University.
- Canadian Applicants must submit International Transcripts/Credentials/Evaluations
- International student applicants from Malta, Europe and other regions must have an undergraduate honors degree (second class) or better from a recognized institution in a relevant area of study.
- International students require the following: TOEFL (650 paper, 280 computer based, 114 internet) or IELTS (5.5). U.S., Canadian, and international students who have graduated from a U.S. Canadian, or Commonwealth University do not require the above exams..

The program combines the faculties of two renowned educational institutions: George Mason University School for Conflict Analysis and Resolution, the oldest and largest program of graduate conflict studies in the United States, and the University of Malta's Mediterranean Academy of Diplomatic Studies, which has been offering advanced degrees in diplomacy and building bridges between Europe, North Africa and the Middle East for the past twenty-five years.
