Justice in Afghanistan – Feature Last evening, about fifty Canadian soldiers stepped off of a Hercules aircraft and onto the tarmac at the Kandahar Air Field. They're the first of more than two-thousand troops who will be deployed to Afghanistan this summer. But as many people will point out - soldiers alone will not rebuild that Country. After three decades of war and political strife, Afghanistan's justice system is in tatters.The international community is vowing to re-build Afghanistan's judicial and legal systems from the ground up.
