Film Screening: The Interrupters

Instead of another Summer Detention reading group, the Unrestees have decided to host an informal film and discussion group.  The second movie of the summer will be "The Interrupters"

The Interrupters is a 2011 documentary film, produced by Kartemquin Films, that tells the story of three violence interrupters who try to protect their Chicago communities from the violence they once employed. A year in the life of a city grappling with urban violence.
