The Insight Practice Lab is an opportunity to learn, practice and hone skills integral to the Insight approach to conflict resolution. Based in the critical reflective philosophy of Bernard Lonergan, the Insight approach directs our questions toward our inner performances in conflict. We ask: how are the decisions we make that entrench us in conflict patterned by how we are valuing what we understand to be true about the circumstances we find ourselves in? By wondering about these questions, the Insight approach deepens the links between meaning and action and sharpens the relationship between the person in conflict and conflict in society. From self-appropriation to deepening to delinking threats, each biweekly session of the Insight Lab will discuss and practice a component of the Insight approach that can be directly applied to understanding and intervening in conflict situations.
