Jennifer Langdon
Jennifer Langdon is a scholar-practitioner of conflict resolution, specializing in restorative justice and applications of mediation in the criminal justice system. Currently she mediates cases for the Baltimore County Police Department and Maryland Commission on Human Relations. In addition, she has worked in the non-profit sector for over a decade on the issues of domestic violence and homelessness.
Jennifer has been teaching courses in the Criminal Justice Concentration since Spring of 2001, joining the department full-time in Spring of 2005. She earned a Ph.D. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution in January 2007 from the Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution (ICAR) at George Mason University.
At Towson, Jennifer teaches Sociology of Law, Criminal Justice Ethics, Conflict Resolution and Criminal Justice, and Writing for Criminal Justice.
