The Eisenhower Medallion is the highest award bestowed by People to People International. . The Eisenhower Medallion is presented to an internationally known individual or organization in recognition for their exceptional contribution to world peace and understanding over a period of at least five years. In 2008 the award was presented to Rami Elhanan and Aziz Abu Sarah of the Breaved Families Forum.
The coin-shaped Eisenhower Medallion bears an image of the late President Dwight D. Eisenhower on one side and the registered logo of People to People International on the reverse.
