Integration Options
Students must complete 6 credits of integrative work, which is meant to be the crowning achievement of your masters degree. S-CAR offers three different integration options, all with the aim of integrating the theory, practice and research that you have experienced during your graduate education. 1. Applied Practice and Theory (APT)
CONF 690 Practicum in Conflict Analysis and Resolution (6 credits)
2. Internship
CONF 694 Internship (6 credits) or
CONF 694 Internship (3 credits) and CONF 795 Professional Development Seminars (3 credits)
- CONF 795 courses are often 1 or 2 credit courses. A total of 3 credits is required, which means student will likely need to take multiple 795’s to reach 3 credits.
3. Thesis
CONF 799 Master’s Thesis (6 credits) or
CONF 797 (1 credit) & CONF 799 (5 credits)
